Client Objectives:

Goldwind Americas is committed to driving the renewable revolution through innovation and technology. Their events strategy center around developing and re-using key assets and components in order to limit unnecessary elements and waste. They rely on Motif to provide great design by re-imagining existing assets so that each event feels fresh and dramatic.

Motif's Design:

Following Goldwind’s ethos for reusability and the AWEA’s qualifications for Green Team participation, Motif achieved a very eco-friendly solution. Custom rental assets were combined with re-purposed graphics and assets from previous years. We eliminated print collateral and polystyrene from all packing materials. And, we used low voltage LED lights and flooring made from at least 25% recycled materials.

The space included three massive double decks with upper-level board rooms for executive meetings. Above the decks, two curved hanging signs framed a  7′ x 40′ LED screen. The lower levels of the desks were used as hospitality lounges and casual meeting space. The corners of the space where defined with two turbine-shaped towers holding vertical 80″ monitors. Double-sided touch screens containing Goldwind’s digital product catalog accompanied a working wind turbine in the center of the space.
